My personal view on the piece is that it may be the greatest of all the Star Wars pieces. OK, I could go on and on, but I am telling you things that you already know. Then the melody comes in much stronger with the violins helping the oboe. Then there is 4 measures where the Clarinet, Harp, and Viola play the excact same three note ascending arrpeggio of the chord Cminor, while the Cello and Double Bass take turns moving downwards with pizzacato perfect fifths. Next the Flute and Bassoon join the Oboe in the melody, as the string section, along with the piano flush out the harmony more. The oboe carrying the melody in the beginning is perfect, with the harp as a nearly always-present harmony leader. But I love the way he uses 12/8 timing to give the three note parts less resolution, and to keep it as an ever moving, never finnished melody. Of course, just as for pure listening, it has a beautifuly aching melody. The following tracks will sound good when mixed with John Williams, London Symphony Orchestra Across the Stars (Love Theme from 'Star Wars: Attack of the Clones') because they have similar tempos, adjacent Camelot values, and complementary styles. I have the conducters score to it, and have been studying it. Medical and Xenolinguistics smart, seemed more like it.
